Latisse™ Eyelash Growth Treatment

latisseHow many years have we been dreaming about having longer, thicker, more beautiful looking lashes? Throw out the false eyelashes, we have a solution!

LATISSE™ is the first and only FDA-approved treatment to promote eyelash growth resulting in longer, thicker and darker looking lashes.

Latisse™ is believed to prolong the active growth phase of the eyelash cycle, and the effect of the solution is gradual. In the clinical trial, the majority of Latisse users saw significant improvement by 2 months.

Available by prescription, Latisse is applied once daily to promote lash growth in people who want longer or darker lashes. You apply Latisse by dabbing it on the upper lash line each night and it spreads to your lower lash line automatically.

How fast does it work?

Latisse™ users can expect to experience longer, fuller and darker eyelashes in as little as eight weeks, and you’ll see full results in 16 weeks

How long does it last?

As long as you keep using LATISSE™, and not necessarily every single day, you will enjoy the benefits of longer, thicker, and darker looking lashes. If you stop using Latisse, your eyelashes will gradually return to where they were prior to treatment over a period of weeks to months.

What are the possible side effects with Latisse™?

The most common side effects after using Latisse™are eye itching or eye redness. These were reported by about 4% of patients in the clinical trials. Latisse™ may cause other less common side effects, which typically occur on the skin close to where Latisse™ is applied. These include skin darkening, eye irritation, dryness, or redness of the eyelids. If you develop a new eye condition (e.g. eye trauma), experience sudden decrease in vision, have eye surgery, or develop any reactions, particularly an infected eyelid reaction, you should immediately talk to Dr. Brown about whether or not to continue using Latisse™.

latisseWho should not use Latisse?

Women who are pregnant or breast feeding should not use Latisse as there are no safety studies. Also anyone with Glaucoma should not use Latisse as they may be using another type of drop in their eyes similar to the ingredient in Latisse.

How can I get Latisse?

Latisse™ is a prescription-only product but is available at our office today. Dr. Brown ensures that each patient is a good candidate for Latisse™. Please call or stop by and talk with us and you’ll be on your way to fabulous lashes!
